Day 1:Arrive Delhi

Upon your arrival in the Indian capital city of New Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative at the Indira Gandhi International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel for 2 nights stay

Day 2:Day in Delhi

Today, enjoy the day discovering Delhi, pacing through the city which is as historic as modern, like 2 sides of the same coin!

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, which includes a visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, ‘silver street’, one of the largest trading centres of India; Also, drive past Red Fort. The place that marked the announcement of India’s freedom from the British Raj; visit Raj Ghat, cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi

Later in the afternoon, discover the modern city of New Delhi, which includes a visit to Qutab Minar, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture and the worlds tallest minaret; Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple of Delhi, with a gold tomb, still in active worship; Photo stop at India Gate, the war memorial arch built in honour of the soldiers who died in the second world war; drive past President's House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings, the most imposing features of Lutyen’s Delhi

Day 3:Delhi - Jaipur(Approx.. / 5-6 hrs)

This morning, drive to Jaipur - land of the Rajput’s. Jaipur is an exuberance of colour, dance and traditional arts and crafts. Known as the 'Pink City', Jaipur is home to ancient forts and palaces and is one of India's most well-planned cities.

The ‘Pink City’, of Jaipur is well known for its beautiful carpets, enamelled ornaments, precious and semi-precious stones, brassware and many other arts and crafts. This afternoon, visit gem and carpet weaving factories, and enjoy haggling for souvenirs in colourful bazaars of Jaipur.

Day 4:Day in Jaipur (Approx../ 5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, visit the Amber fort, which was built in the 16th century. An elephant ride will help you ascend to this hilltop fort (elephants are subject to availability). Alternatively, you could choose to walk or drive up to the fort.

This afternoon, visit the City Palace complex with its museums and Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory. Also, drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), built in the 18th century. This palace with its innumerable windows and screened balconies was especially built for the royal women to view the city and processions from behind their purdahs.

Day 5:Jaipur - Pushkar (Approx.. / 2-3 hrs)

After breakfast, embark on a drive amidst the arid Rajasthan desert towards Pushkar, a land of fairs in the heart of Rajasthan. Famous for the annual cattle and camel fair in November, Pushkar is also one of the holiest cities of India, being one of the 5 sacred dhams (pilgrimage site) for Hindu devotees.

Upon arrival in Pushkar, enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Day 6:Pushkar - Jodhpur(Approx../ 4-5 hrs)

This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pushkar, mingling with saadhu’s (holy men in their orange attires), visiting the holy Pushkar Lake and the various temples in the region. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma.

Later, embark on a leisurely drive to Jodhpur, the blue hued city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Day 7:Day in Jodhpur

Today, visit the rock-solid Mehrangarh Fort, and the grand palaces within the fort - Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana, which are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex stands the Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. While in Jodhpur shop for the exquisite handcrafted articles such as embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics.

Day 8:Jodhpur - Jaisalmer(Approx../ 5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Jaisalmer, (‘Golden City’) - En-route you will stop to visit. the charming village of Osian. Osian is known for its many jain temples: the most interesting are the Durga temple and Mahavir temple. Then continue drive to Jaisalmer.

Upon arrival in Jaisalmer, check in to your hotel. Rest day is at leisure for own activities.

Day 9:Day in Jaisalmer

After breakfast, visit the 12 Century magnificent Fort at Jaisalmer, the Golden Fort. Over the Trikuta Hill, this fort is the biggest and the most beautiful landmark of the city. The fort is occupied by shops, stall, and a number of the business concerns. It is also known as Sonar Quila or the Golden Fort, rising from the sand, the mega structure merges with the golden hues of the desert ambience. The Jain temple, situated inside the fort, made between 12 th and 15 th century, bears testimony to Rajasthan unique artistry.

Then visit the; Patwon-ki- Haveli and Alim-Singh-Ki-Haveli. the mansion built by the wealthy merchants, which are still in very good condition.

In the afternoon, Drive to Khuri Sand Dunes and typical Rajasthani Desert Village. Take a camel ride to view the sunset from the dunes. The you will enjoy the traditional dinner in the Desert.

After complete the dinner drive back to Hotel OR Your have another option to spend your night in Desert in Khuri (the difference from Hotel to desert based on Additional Charge).

Day 10:Jaisalmer - Bikaner(Approx.. / 5-6 hrs)

After an early breakfast, embark on a drive to Bikaner, once a major trading post between Africa, West Asia and the Far East. The city is renowned for its arts and the best riding camels in the world.

Upon arrival in Bikaner, check in at your hotel and freshen up. This afternoon, enjoy a horse-cart ride to the old town where you visit beautiful buildings and the majestic Junagarh Fort, a formidable structure encircled by a moat.

Day 11:Bikaner - Mandawa(Approx.. / 3-4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Mandawa. Upon arrival, check in to hotel.

Later visit the painted Haveli’s of the Dandled town and surrounding areas of the Mandawa. Mandawa founded in 1755 by Thakue Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants has beautiful frescoes, Haveli and mansions. Mandawa castle one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collection of armories, costumes of ancestors, canons from 1820 ancient coins, numismatic collection, and many other interesting items, preserved in a museum.

Day 12:Mandawa - Delhi / Departure(Approx../ 5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, embark on your return drive to New Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.

REMARKS

  • Taj Mahal is closed on Friday
  • Check-in, check-out time at hotels is usually 12:00 noon
  • Domestic flights in the Indian subcontinent impose a baggage restriction of 15kgs for check in and 07kgs for cabin baggage
  • Price includes only those items specified in the itinerary
  • Price is quoted per person basis, in US Dollars, on Single / Double / Triple sharing basis
  • In case of any significant foreign exchange fluctuations or amendment in local Government taxes, or any fuel hike, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.
  • In-case of any cancellation, deviation, or delay in journey due to weather, traffic, political conditions and / or other force majeure events, we will make alternative arrangements, with client’s approval, in the best interest of clients. If such alternative arrangements incur any extra charge, the same shall be borne by the client. The client will not be entitled to refund for any missed sightseeing resulting out of such events, which are beyond our control
